What we believe
The Trinity
We believe in one true God, eternally existing in three persons — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit — each possessing distinct personal attributes, yet being of one essence, perfectly united in being and purpose.
Matt 28:19; Luke 3:22
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and in the ongoing work and manifestation of the Holy Spirit through His fruit and spiritual gifts in the life of the believer.
Acts 1:4–8
Salvation through Jesus Christ
Because of His grace and purpose, God made a way for us through his one and only son – Jesus Christ — through His death, resurrection, and ascension — so that we can be made right with Him, renewed, and set apart for Him when we believe and repent.
Luke 24:13–43; John 3:16; John 20:11–29
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is our complete guide for what we believe and how we live.
2 Timothy 3:16
The Fallen Man
We believe that humanity, through the fall, is inherently sinful and wholly depraved, and therefore incapable, apart from divine grace, of pleasing God.
Genesis 3
The Church
We believe in the Church as the Body of Christ, composed of all true believers, under the headship of Christ, and governed by His Word and the ministries ordained in Scripture.
1 Corinthians 12:27; Ephesians 1:22-23
The Ordinances of the Church
We believe in the ordinances instituted by the Lord Jesus Christ, namely water baptism and the Lord’s Supper, to be observed by the Church.
Matthew 28:19
The Second Coming of Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ will return again before His thousand-year reign on earth.
1 Thessalonians 4:16–17
The Resurrection and Final Judgement
We believe in the resurrection of all people, God’s final judgement, the defeat of Satan, and the promise of a new heaven and a new earth.
